Platform is one of Glasgow’s largest and most unusual venues, providing a unique backdrop to a wide variety of events, performances and celebrations.

From large scale brand activations & launch events to corporate dinners & film screenings, hosting your event at Platform offers the personal touch of dealing with a small but highly knowledgeable team whilst having the ability to design, curate and create a highly personalised event.

Common events held at our Glasgow venue hire include:

Our event space is conveniently located in Glasgow’s City Centre and is very well connected, with Glasgow Central Station just seconds away.

Our space has a natural versatility that lends itself well to events of varying sizes, layouts and formats, all of which can be tailored to meet your requirements, whatever the size or theme.

What’s more, the event space is extremely adaptable and can host up to 1000 people for a seated dinner and up to 1,800 for a reception-style event. Alternatively, create a small intimate event for 100 to 300 people using just one or two arches.

Looking for something smaller? You can host 50-100 people in our fun and vibrant café bar area if this is better suited to the needs of your event.

If you are interested in organising an event at our venue or hire space in Glasgow, you’ll be met with a range of food and menu options whatever your needs. 

Choose a catering menu that matches the nature and vibe of your event. We can supply a simple selection of teas, coffees and light bites for large corporate events and conferences, or we can create a bespoke menu for your special wedding day. There is also the option of choosing food from our global street food menu, which always goes down a treat with anyone who gets a chance to try it!
