Do I have to book or can I just turn up?

We always aim to have tables for walk ins but cannot guarantee that these will be available during peak times. We advise booking if your party is 4 or more to avoid disappointment.

Can I bring my kids…and my dog?

Yes! Platform is family and dog friendly, children and U18s are welcome until 8pm. Remember to leave a note if you are bringing kids so that we can make sure we seat you in the best spot.

Is there a time limit on my booking?

Table bookings are allocated 3 hour slots, we are happy to extend this with prior notice. Just drop us a message in advance as we may not be able to accommodate on the day.

I want to book for a large group, is that ok?

Platform welcomes group bookings, we have lots of space and can accommodate larger groups of up to 35 guests. To book for up to 19 guests you can book your table using the widget above. For tables of 20 or more a deposit applies so we would ask that you enquire via the booking widget for your desired date and a member of the team will be in touch.

My friends have booked a table at the same time as me, can we sit next to each other?

If you have multiple bookings under different names you need to add a note in the comments or contact us in advance. We will always endeavour to accommodate your requests but cannot guarantee them without prior notice.

Why do I need to provide card details when booking online, is there a charge?

Card details are required for bookings of 5 or more, nothing is charged except in the event of a complete no show or last minute cancellation (less than 4 hours.) You can cancel your booking via your confirmation email or if you are running late you can call us on 0345 241 6253. Full Booking Terms & Conditions must be viewed before you complete your booking and are noted on your confirmation.

We are coming to Platform to celebrate a birthday, can I bring a cake, candles and decorations?

Please request in advance if you wish to bring any form of decoration (balloons etc) as we must ensure the comfort of all guests in the venue. We are happy for you to bring a cake (please do NOT bring a cake knife…we can help with this) but we do not allow real candles inside the venue.

One of my group doesn’t fancy the menu, can we bring our own food?

No sorry, only food and drinks purchased in Platform can be consumed on the premises. Under no circumstances should guests bring their own alcohol into the venue, you will be asked to leave any alcohol (including gifts) at the host desk to collect when you leave.

We’re coming as part of a Stag/Hen party, is that ok and can we dress up?

Whilst Platform welcomes groups , we are a family friendly venue and ask that any large groups be mindful of other guests at all times. It is always best to drop us an email in advance if you are planning to come along as part of a Stag or Hen Party. Any behaviour or dress deemed inappropriate will not be accepted. As a licensed premises, Platform reserves the right to refuse entry or service to anyone we deem to be intoxicated.
