What is Platform?

Platform is a vibrant bar, restaurant and events venue located in the heart of Glasgow City Centre directly below Glasgow’s central station.

We boast a large, welcoming space, perfect for bigger groups, celebrations, nights out with friends or just a quick drink with your significant other on the weekend.

Our impressive space utilises Glasgow’s famous underground arches, giving our bar and restaurant area a unique, authentic look. We’ve remodeled the space to give a more welcoming feel to our customers, with plenty of tables, light and décor which creates one of most original bar and restaurants in Glasow.

Our huge indoor street food restaurant offers a wide selection of fantastic grub inspired by cuisines around the globe, as well as entertainment including sporting events live music and Glasgow’s finest DJs

The bar pours the freshest pints of unpasteurised lager by Innis & Gunn alongside Glasgow’s largest selection of craft beers and our own beers brewed in our own microbrewery. Our extensive back bar has an array of premium gins, whiskey, rums, vodkas, bourbons and liqueurs

Furthermore, Platform has its own outdoor bar area, a hidden oasis in amongst the hustle and bustle of Glasgow’s city centre. Our outdoor beer garden, The Lane, is the perfect spot for outdoor drinking in Glasgow. Even if the sun decides to leave you midway through your drink (in true Glasgow fashion), you’ll more than likely find a free table indoors!
